Citrus drinks are of great importance for the consumer nowadays. Juice squeezed from the fruit is the best known citrus derivative. Other less well known specialty products can also
return unexpected or added value. The key: a system designed to extract each element, profitably, with minimum waste. Food-processing industry has developed most of the products
on this market. Machines for processing of citrus fruits have suffered a lot of development in the last few years. They can meet the high requirements of the new technologies.
All important processes concerning preliminary treatment, extraction, clarification, gentle concentration with aroma recovery, etc. are proceeded by machines with high level of
automatization. Our technological lines are able to process all kinds of citrus fruits: oranges, grapefruit, lemons, tangerine, etc. Citrus fruits are separated into three basic components:
- juice and pulp for the juice and concentration lines;
- peel, seeds and general waste for the feed mill;
- emulsion slurry for the oil recovery system.
They can be used also for production of jam and jelly.
Filling and packing of the ready product can be done in cans, jars, bottles, aseptic bags (bag in drum) or in flexible bags
(from 5 to 25 kg.). Our lines can be completed with different types of vacuum concentrators and aseptic sterilizers-fillers, following the organoleptic and nourishing characteristics of
the ready product. We can offer secondary extraction of the peels and the pulp in order to raise the yield of juice.
Animal feed with high nutritious quality is obtained from the waste particles of citrus fruits during production of juice. These are mainly peels, pulp, seeds, which after an adequate
treatment are excellent components for production of fodder. |
