The BELT PRESS is designed for continuous juice extraction from chopped fruits without previous necessity of enzymatic treatment. The juice extraction is obtained by increasing the pressure on the fruits cake placed between the two running belts. The fruit cake is conveyed on the upper belt where is uniformly distributed. After its conveying on the lower belt, the fruits cake is subjected to a further increasing of pressure by approaching the two belts toward the wedge zone. In the pressure zone, the cake contained between the two belts, follows a S pattern around the rolls with the different and decreasing diameter. The time necessary for pressing process is approximately two minutes. Tanks to this short time juice oxidation in the machine is avoided.
FEATURES: All the pressing rolls are coated with special rubbers. The belts, specially indicated for food industry application, are fabricated with high strength polyester wire. The frame is made up by high strength steel construction coated with synthetic resins. The trays and hoppers are made in stainless steel AISI 304. A self cleaning device for both the belts, allows the continuous working process.
